From what I remember, Jesus did say, those who had not committed any sin, should cast the first stone. As humans however, it happens a lot, and most of the times, using other Jesus' teachings to show one's fault, forgetting that as His follower, we should be sharing love above everything else.
Though I may not be Catholic, I hope Pope Francis advocates the same for the sake of their Church and its followers.
